Congratulations to Sophie Woods and Adelina Holil (2017 Graduates) who have both had work selected to be exhibited in the Art Gallery of Western Australia as part of the Perspectives Exhibition 2017.
The Art Gallery of Western Australia says, “Year 12 Perspectives showcases work by some of the best, brightest and most talented graduating high school artists in WA, and is a barometer of what our youth are thinking and feeling. Fifty eight works by 57 students from across WA were selected by this year’s judging panel. Works span a variety of subject matter and media, ranging from painting and drawing to sculpture, digital moving images, photography and textiles. Prominent themes in this year’s display include social engagement, family and nature”.
You can view Sophie’s “Homesickness of the Sick” and Adelina’s “Monkey Bars” from 17 March to 16 July at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Perth Cultural Centre.
