Located in Perth’s Central Business District College offers young women an outstanding Catholic education based on the Mercy values of compassion, justice, excellence, integrity and service. A dynamic learning environment is offered to a diverse student population.
Enrolment Process
An application for enrolment is an expression of interest in Mercedes College and not a formal commitment. The easy to complete online application form ensures your daughter will be placed on a register for enrolment in the class and calendar year of entry. Completion of the application form does not guarantee your daughter a place.
The non-refundable enrolment application fee of AUD $110 per student can be paid by visa or mastercard. The College requires a copy of your daughter’s birth certificate, baptism certificate and, if applicable, latest two school reports, Naplan results, and other relevant documentation. The College will send an acknowledgement of your application.
An Enrolment Application Form is available here.
If you haven’t had the chance to visit our campus, we highly recommend booking a college tour. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore our facilities and get a feel for our vibrant community. You can register your family through our Book a Tour link.
The College will commence the interview process 3 years prior to entry. Subject to availability, families are selected for interview based on the following criteria:
- Families with siblings currently attending the College, or previously attended
- Daughters of Alumni
- Catholic students
- Non-Catholic students from Catholic schools
- Other non-Catholic students
Your daughter is required to attend the interview with at least one parent.
If offered a place following your daughter’s interview, a non-refundable enrolment acceptance fee of $1,000, per student, is payable within 4 weeks of acceptance of an offer of a place at the College and will be credited to your first account.
The payment of this fee completes the enrolment interview process and secures a place for your daughter’s year of entry.
A year prior to entry the College will email further information to our incoming Year 7 families. This will include dates for:
- MYAT (Middle Years Academic Testing) – held in August.
- Year 6 Student Orientation Day – held in mid-November
Please find below the following forms and an Enrolment Calculator to assist with the enrolment process.
