At the College’s Excellence Assembly on Tuesday 5 February more than fifty 2018 Graduates were acknowledged for their academic excellence in their WACE studies including seven students who received an ATAR of 95+.
Also, 2018 Year 11 students were recognised for their academic achievements.
Awards were also presented to Year 12 Marcella McFarlane (Mercy Education Award), Year 10 Anne Kenwery and Year 11 Elizabeth Kelleher (2018 Mercy Service Awards).
To inspire the cohort Alumni Ellie Narducci (2015), who is studying Mechatronic Engineering at Curtin University and who was successful in receiving a John Curtin University Scholarship, spoke to the cohort about her own pathway since leaving school, the challenges she faced and how volunteering has brought her so many rewarding experiences.
