For the third consecutive year McAuley House was triumphant winning the Interhouse Athletics Shield on Thursday 20 June. With the sun shining and the music pumping there was an electric atmosphere at the WA Athletics Stadium. Congratulations to all participants for your enthusiasm and efforts. Several records were broken throughout the day including: Grace Beaglehole (Year 9) 1500m 5:38.49, Holly Greville (Year 10) 1500m 5:52.98, Sarah Hillyer (Year 12) 1500m 5:41.98, Selemana Amato (Year 7) Shot Put 8.32, Mackenzie Widdowson (Year 7) Discus 24.01m.
Final results were McAuley 1990, Cooper 1755, Wright 1719, Serisier 1690, Frayne 1613, and McDonald 1558, who also won the Team Shield events.
Congratulations to the 2018 Age Champions on some outstanding results.
McAuley Captains were presented with the House Athletic Shield at the assembly the following day.
