Fantastic effort from the ACC Athletics team, who represented Mercedes College brilliantly at the A Division Athletics Carnival on Wednesday 15 September. Congratulations to the entire ACC team for their efforts and participation in each event. Some stand out performers from the day include:
- Hannah Doyle (Year 10) – who finished 1st place (Champion Girl) for U16
- Grace Beaglehole (Year 11) – who finished 1st place (Champion Girl) for Open girls
Overall results:
- Junior girls – 6th place
- Senior girls – 1st place (for the second year in a row!)
- Overall girls aggregate – 4th place
Friday 10 September also saw 5 students represent Mercedes College at the ACC Inclusive Education Athletics Carnival. The weather was perfect which encouraged the girls to put in their best effort and participate in every event. Most importantly, the girls enjoyed the day and cheered along their peers showing the true MC spirit.
