Mercedes College, Australia’s first purpose-built school still located on its original site in Perth’s vibrant CBD, is seeking passionate and dedicated English teachers to join our community.

Brief overview of the Position:
We are currently seeking two English teachers to join our dynamic and collaborative learning area:
- One ongoing full-time position
- One Semester 2 leave replacement position
The successful applicants will contribute to a highly professional and collegial English team, delivering engaging and thoughtful learning experiences across a range of year levels and abilities. You will inspire a love of literature, language and critical thinking, supporting students to develop confidence in their communication and analysis skills. Ability to teach Religious Education in addition to English will be highly regarded for the ongoing position.
As a member of our College community, you will work collaboratively with staff, students and families, fostering strong relationships built on trust, respect and a shared commitment to student growth. You will also contribute to the broader life of the College through co-curricular and pastoral involvement.
These roles commence on 20 July 2026, with the leave replacement position running through Semester 2 and the full-time role ongoing.
