The 2021 Frog Jog took place on Friday 23 April, the students appreciated that the event could take place after a two-year absence due to weather and COVID-19.
The conditions were perfect, and the staff and students were excited to venture onto a new course which meandered down Hay street, past the WACA and Trinity College to our starting point for our Cross Country. This year a Cross Country timed section of the course was included into the Frog Jog with a 4km section which provided our runners with an opportunity to display their skill and tenacity. Students had the opportunity to walk, run or a combination of both around the course with House points allocated for all participants.
The Prefects provided some entertainment, support, and a sugar rush at various stations around the course. These ladies along with the rest of the Year 12 cohort provided great leadership and comradery amongst all participants on the day.
The day seemed to be enjoyed by all, memories were made, and many students challenged themselves physically and mentally. More importantly funds were raised for our Mercy charities and through Service our students once again displayed a willingness to help others.
