Dear Parents,
Thank you for your ongoing support and patience during this challenging and uncertain time.
Please note below important information regarding the current COVID 19 lockdown:
- The health and wellbeing of students and staff is our top priority with a continued focus on learning and teaching.
- For COVID-19 WA Government updates please visit WA.gov.au and for a list of exposure sites click here.
- Schools are open, however, parents may choose to keep their children at home.
If so, you must inform the College of your daughter/s absence by contacting Student Services via the Absentee SMS 0481 883 770 or email studentservices.
- Masks must continue to be worn by all at the College, mask requirements remain unchanged.
- Parents should only be dropping off and picking up students at this stage with no other reason to be on the campus. Only essential services are permitted on campus.
Teaching and Learning
- At this stage face to face teaching will continue, with details of lessons provided on SEQTA – no online teaching will occur during this lockdown period.
- Students won’t be negatively impacted if they miss an assessment.
- Cert IV Business students can stay at home and connect with their tutor via Zoom. Tutors will email students.
- As the holiday term break approaches, please remind your daughter to bring home their laptop and any books, materials required.
Co-Curricular Activities
- During the lockdown period all co-curricular activities and events including production and music ensemble rehearsals must be cancelled until further notice.
- However, Instrumental music lessons will continue as normal.
PE Uniform
- Students are permitted to wear their PE uniform for the full day on days that they have PE classes.
Hygiene
Parents are asked to remind their daughter/s about good-hygiene practices:
- Washing of hands regularly with soap and water. This includes before and after eating and after going to the toilet.
- use alcohol-based hand sanitisers when you can’t use soap and water.
- avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- clean and disinfect objects regularly in use such as mobile phones.
Uniform Shop
Until further notice we will not open the uniform shop during the lockdown period. The next scheduled operating day is Monday 19 July, which is a student free day. Please check the College website for any updates on opening hours Uniform Shop.
