Mercedes College is proud to share the first stage of our Capital Development Plan, the creation of a state-of-the-art Technologies Precinct, opening in 2027. This exciting redevelopment reflects our Strategic Plan and commitment to providing innovative learning environments that prepare students for the future.

The new precinct will transform our historic Hall into a vibrant hub for creativity and collaboration. It will feature two Food Technology rooms, two Children, Family and Community rooms, and a dedicated Textiles room, alongside a modern café and dining hall. The dining hall will accommodate 200 seats indoors, complemented by an open-air terrace with seating for 160, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor learning spaces.

Guided by principles of sustainability and respect for heritage, this redevelopment honours the proud history of the Sisters of Mercy while embracing innovation with heart. These purpose-built spaces will empower students to design, prototype, and create, fostering real-world learning opportunities and partnerships.

We invite our community and prospective families to explore this exciting development through the photos and video below, and to share in our vision of building a future that celebrates heritage and embraces bold ideas.
