Monday 27 April, 2021
As you would be aware, the lockdown called by Premier Mark McGowan on Friday 23 April, ended as of 12.01am Tuesday 27 April and Mercedes College will operate as usual.
All students will be required to wear masks this week during class, recess, lunch and entering and leaving school premises.
Parents visiting, dropping off or picking up students will need to wear a mask and sign in at Administration if entering the premises.
As outlined by the Health Department, if you, or your family, have visited one of the potential contact exposure sites (identified in the second section of the Health Department site here) during the exposure timeframe identified on the Health Department website, you need to attend a COVID clinic for testing and isolate at home until you receive a negative result if you have not already done so. Continue to monitor for symptoms for 14 days following your visit. If you experience any symptoms at any time – fever, coughing, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, loss of smell or taste – go to a COVID clinic to be retested.
Furthermore, if your daughter is showing any signs of illness, please do not send her to school.
If your daughter is waiting for the result of a COVID test and is not able to attend school while waiting for a result, to assist in our recording of attendance please fill in the form ONLY if applicable.
