Media Studies allows students to look at the media around us and to observe it critically, understanding the conventions that it works from and the values it presents.  It allows students to analyse, produce and respond to everyday media, in the way that it persuades us, challenges us and entertains us.  This course is both analytical and skills based, in the areas of broadcast and digital video production.  It requires team work and organisation and it extends students in their creative expression.
