Well another season has come to an end. I would like to take this opportunity to thank players, coaches, umpires, team managers, committee members, parents and families for a wonderful season.

With the support from the small committee everything has worked out well with 165 girls to organise and place into teams of the same skill level. In general I think the teams have worked out well and with a few small changes next year we can again have a successful season. For me personally it has been a great first season as President and with minimal problems experienced and nothing that can’t be taken on board and sorted ready for next season.

What a fantastic end to the 2007 Netball season. Saturday saw the Grand Finals being played by eight of our teams. Four of these teams WON the grand final. Congratulations to teams Gold, Violet, Teal & Pink for your Grand Final win, but also congratulations must go to Teams Silver, Bronze, Yellow & Mauve for making it to the Grand Final.

This year has been our most successful year to date and we are looking forward to an even better year in 2008. Thank you to all the parents and students for your fantastic support during the year, whether that be as a competitor, coach, umpire, team manager, supporter or committee member, you have all made a contribution to our success.

Registration forms for 2008 will be issued with end of year reports and are due back 1st week of school 2008. We ended the season with our windup on Sunday 16th. A great afternoon was had by all who attended and the feedback was very positive and appreciated.

I would like to end by thanking everyone for their support over the past 3 years and I know the club will only grow bigger and stronger from here.
