Tournament of Minds is an Australian wide program designed to give students the opportunity to participate in creative activities involving open-ended challenges which demand experimentation and reward divergent thinking.
On Tournament Day students will be required to participate in two challenges: | 1. | The Spontaneous - an unseen challenge solved in a very short time by the team | | 2. | The Long Term - Six weeks to prepare a script to demonstrate a solution to a given problem in the discipline of language literature, social science, maths engineering or applied technology. The solution is presented in front of an audience on the Tournament Day. |
